Holiday Food & Toy Drives

The House of Peace (HOP) provides 1,000 needy households with food to enjoy during the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. We also distribute gifts to over 2,000 children living in these households at Christmas.

Holiday Food Box Drives - Help us feed those in need!

Your group can collect food for the boxes we send home at Thanksgiving and Christmas. Download a copy of our shopping list to share with others. We can deliver the boxes to your church, workplace or school in sets of 25 strapped flat. At the end of your food drive your group fills the boxes and we will return to pick them up. The boxes have the list printed on the side to make filling them easy.

We can provide a speaker and/or DVD for "kick-off" or "wrap-up" events. We can customize any of the materials available on our website for your group. Here are some sample materials you can use to encourage people to help donate food for a drive:

Holiday Toy Drives - Brighten a child's life with a Christmas gift!

The average household we serve has 2-3 children and without the House of Peace most would not receive any gifts for Christmas. Our goal is for each child age birth to 14 years of age to receive an average of 3 gifts so we need over 7,000 gifts total.

Corporate Sponsorships - Hold a drive at work, school or in your neighborhood !

Over 120 churches, schools, workplaces, clubs and community groups sponsor food or toy drives during October, November and December each year. If your company or group would like to be a corporate sponsor, click here:
