Emergency Food Pantry
Feeding the hungry is central to the mission of the House of Peace: no person should be hungry and none are turned away who seek emergency aid for food.
For our donors: Right now our food pantry shelves are not as full as we would like them to be. Any donations will be greatly appreciated. Please drop off your food donations to 1702 W. Walnut. We have easy parking for you on 17th Street--you will see a U-drive for temporary parking. We can use canned fruits and vegetables, soups, packaged food items such as noodles, rice, breakfast cereals, and anything else you can furnish. We serve three zip codes. The need is great in these tough times. Our House of Peace families thank you in advance.
For our guests: The Emergency Food Pantry is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 A.M. to Noon, and 1:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. Please bring your picture ID, a current proof of residence (address), proof of income, and ID for everyone in the household.
